I don’t think I’ll end up posting on any of those other sites. If Twitter dies, I’ll just miss y’all. I do post on Instagram but it’s not the same. Maybe it’s time for Twitter to end. Could be good for us? But I’m here til the end. Have also stayed too long at parties before. 🤗

Growing up in totalitarian Czechoslovakia, voting was useless- there was only one party and one candidate- no choice whatsoever. Am so grateful that we were able to stop a possible totalitarian situation in America. Because here, we do have a choice- let’s make sure we keep it!

A VERY early photo (1860s) of Congress Ave. in Austin looking north toward the old capitol building. Note the foot bridges crossing the street. Those were to keep the mud and slop off of people as they crossed. It was subsequently bricked over and then, in the early 1900s, paved.

I’m so lucky to have been able to see Obama give a lot of speeches. This isn’t even the first time I’ve seen him speak in the gym at North Division High School in Milwaukee.
I’ve never seen him so loose, so undeniably true, and so on fire. It was wild. Vote.
