@DanielKebedeNEU I know teachers who work as EPs, and in LA education teams who still haven't been told their 2025 pay award. Who waited over a year for 2022 and 23. No effort from the unions that represent to take it seriously. Maybe you could be vocal about #soulbury tchrs too?

I know teachers who: - Have stopped drinking water during the day because the staff toilet next to them has been broken for months. - who have an hour added to their morning routine because all but one photocopiers are broken. - are struggling to manage because most Support Staff cut. The lack of funding is sending workloads sky high and making the average day gruelling. Education is running on empty. It needs correcting at the budget.

@aguyintheroom @SaulStaniforth And all the time it’s in their account they are earning way more interest on it than our actual pay rise… it works in their favour to delay it as long as possible

@SaulStaniforth I'm paid on the Soulbury pay scale. We reluctantly accepted a 2.5% in Feb, backdated to Sept 24. The council I work for still hasn't indicated when we'll actually get it. I don't trust councils to operate in good faith.

Sarah Jones says Unite needs to call off the strike in Birmingham & accept the offer (which members just rejected by 97%) Jones, from the party of organised labour, who earns over £120,000/year & who just got a 2.8% pay rise, telling workers on much less to accept a pay cut

A brilliant St Leger Day at @DoncasterRaces and with no PM or King here this year, security just normal "big occasion" level, so everyone seemed more relaxed and had a great time. A superb happy crowd watched a magnificent afternoon of sport, and an epic finish to the big race.

Quick update on Broadway Boy. He’s obviously still sore but the vets are happy with his progress. He’s getting all the care and attention possible, he is looking brighter each day. ❤️@AintreeRaces .
