New government guidance has been issued in Scotland saying 12 year old children can consent to gender-affirming puberty blockers. The guidance issued by Scotlands social care watchdog Care Inspectorate, recommends affirming children’s gender identities by using their preferred pronouns, new names and recommending them to a gender transition clinic, the Sandyford Clinic. “A young person aged 12 and over is presumed to have sufficient capacity to make decisions about medical treatment.” The guidance also says that children in social care should share bedrooms with children that match up to their ‘gender identity.’ Source: The Telegraph & Daily Mail

UK Transgender Predator sentenced to 9 years in prison for raping a vulnerable woman using ‘her penis.’ Lexi-Rose Crawford previously began identifying as a woman after being released from prison for raping a child. After coming out of prison and coming out as trans they then went on to commit another crime, the sexual assault of a woman. The formal court indictment referred to the rapist as using “her penis” to commit the crime and referred to him as a woman throughout the court case, despite being a biological man. He is expected to service his 9 year sentence in a men’s prison, unlike other transgender prisoners across the UK who are housed with women. Source: Daily Mail
