My wife accused me of stealing her thesaurus. Not only was I shocked, but I was appalled, aghast, and dismayed.

This week I: - rounded - scrubbed in - held the laparoscopic camera All for the very first time!!! Surgery is wild.

Our belated white coat ceremony has me feeling so excited to take on M3 year 💪🏽 Grateful to go into this journey with such amazing friends, family, and mentors by my side 🥰🥰

Can we talk about how shadowing puts first-gen medical students at a disadvantage? In undergrad fellow premeds we’re getting shadowing opportunities through doctors they knew personally or their parents knew. I didn’t personally know a doctor to ask and it made it 10x harder.

@rkh_md @olsonplanner I’ve also heard that even the same insurance company has differing coverages based on what the patient’s employer has negotiated with the insurance company. Is this true?

@olsonplanner It's impossible to know. Every insurance company negotiates a different price with every hospital.

Why don't physicians know exactly what each procedure they regularly perform costs the patient?

I feel a strange sense of solidarity with the very small minority of people wearing a mask at the airport

@NNolanMD I used to volunteer at a hospital in Oakland, CA. I PAID to park my car to volunteer. 🤯

I find it infuriating that I have to pay for parking AT A PLACE I'M REQUIRED TO BE FOR MY JOB. Why are large hospitals, with millions in profits, charging healthcare workers for the right to park their car? #soapbox #MedTwitter

As soon as the new doctor's office found out I was on MMT they wanted me to call my insurance and verify that I was really covered. I just got up and left. I can't believe I actually showered for this.
