Any chance of some carpet in the change rooms @kfncweb or should we bring our own? @sjmoloney_7 not happy #iceskatingring

@cleary_mitch @7AFL But you and other reporters were claiming that Geelong had put talks on hold until the end of season 🤦🏻♂️
English

Such was Geelong’s intent on signing Holmes, head of football Andrew Mackie flew to Perth just prior to the season to meet with his WA-based agent.
It’s a deal worth around $3million over four years.
More tonight @7AFL Talking Footy - after The Front Bar

Breaking - Max Holmes has signed a four-year deal with Geelong. More details next on @7NewsMelbourne + @7AFL Talking Footy

@tommorris32 @FootyonNine @9NewsMelb Another piece of journalism the media doesn't get held accountable for.
English

Max Holmes’ fresh four-year deal takes him to free agency. Things moved quick in the end, it was only finalised overnight & this morning.
Collingwood, Dogs, Hawks among the clubs who were keen on him.

@stump_carlin Crazy times.. it just amazes me they allow this to happen. I just feel for the yr 12 students and younger kids.
English

@Sarge41 I’m lead to believe it’s because of the trade classification often being considered as an “essential service”. I’d also assume it has something to do with the CFMEU being in the pocket of the labor government possibly.
English

@stump_carlin a question for you who’s education is more important year 11/12’s or even preps or a apprentice. #askingforafriend
English

@stump_carlin 100% agree. Then why would tafes be open for 16-40yrs to attend on-site trade learning, considering these students could be travelling from all over state.
English

@Sarge41 I’d imagine it’s due to the alarming rate of infection in kids aged u19 and the trouble with kids understanding the complexities of a global pandemic and the preventative measures we can put in place to slow the virus down.
English

@stump_carlin What’s the reasoning for kids not being able to attend school?
English

@Sarge41 All very important levels of education however and if we were not in a global pandemic this wouldn’t be a question.
English

Surely we could 20000 regional fans for a final at gmhba instead of going to Tasmania @StewartMatty @crabshack26 @DanielAndrewsMP doesn’t make any sense.
English

Eddie McGuire reports that the AFL is considering bringing the Grand Final forward if crowds are allowed in the MCG.
If not, the pre-finals by could be scrapped and a week off introduced between the Preliminary Final and the Grand Final.

@harney_steve @GarrickRKnight When are your horses running again??
English

@GarrickRKnight It’s got a motor.... Nobels filly in heat 1 went 2 lengths quicker and was under a grip. Both nice types 👌
English

@Sarge41 @seanyhardeman @WboolStandard @stump_carlin In the current climate uncertainty clouds any predictions as they can’t even get their house in order... would be ludicrous to think with donuts everyday assuming a back to ‘normal’ life has to happen. Keeping the big sports going I get it but why should country Vic pay the price
English

"50,000 people are allowed at the MCG but we can't have over a thousand. It's not consistent and the country people are missing out." What do you think? @WboolStandard standard.net.au/story/7151400/…
English

@harney_steve @seanyhardeman @WboolStandard @stump_carlin Stop sitting on the fence razor give us your opinion..
English

@stump_carlin @harney_steve @seanyhardeman @WboolStandard We agree on this one but the biggest issue will be after game and Thursday nights. Far as I aware there is going to be some issues with crowds inside. Wait and see. He is making it very hard for clubs and volunteers. Hard to police numbers
English

@harney_steve @seanyhardeman @WboolStandard @Sarge41 I’d love to know what local footy club will get 1000 people through the gate during the home and away season. However I’d say if current coronavirus numbers stay down you’ll see further relaxing of these restrictions, Steve.
English

@harney_steve @stump_carlin @mcconzy @steveoconnor167 Too busy tea bag.. my final comment on the matter is @DanielAndrewsMP shouldn’t never hold a position of power. Cost the state 4 billion dollars when first come into power now he has fucked the state because he can’t run hotel quarantine.
English

@stump_carlin @mcconzy @steveoconnor167 Only 5 day lockdown? Try saying that to a hospitality business who spent 125 last year in lock down and nearly went under.
English

@stump_carlin @mcconzy @steveoconnor167 The argument is if he could run a hotel quarantine program and contact tracing program we wouldn’t have to go into lockdown.you could argue other states have been in lockdown recently aswell that is true but it wasn’t the whole state.
English

@stump_carlin @mcconzy Well my point is if he can’t do his job right. Step aside. Rural Victoria shouldn’t have to keep putting up with his mistakes. Our kids and small business deserve better
English

@mcconzy @stump_carlin You can rely on Dan as much you can rely on you sticking to the one job @stump_carlin

English

@stump_carlin Not against appropriate lockdowns or Retrictions. When Melbourne was at its worst rural areas never had to go to stage 4, this lockdown for rural areas is overkill. This is going to happen again. Do we lockdown the whole state every time?
English

@Sarge41 @PudIrving @vandab74 You just make sure your little puddy cats get there tonight it may be there last chance 🤗
