The 10333 Barad-dûr LEGO set has finally been revealed and I'm... incredibly disappointed. Perhaps the LEGO Rivendell put too much hope in me, but at eye-watering $460 I was expecting more than an ungainly lump of black pieces accompanied by repetitive minifigures...

I just got the lighting kit that Brickstuff.com kindly built specifically for my TRON Bike project. I think it's safe to say that it was worth the wait.

Only took me the whole weekend, but here it is. An actual 14-cylinder radial LEGO engine with a variable pitch propeller. Minifigure for scale.
