The judge granted the protective order against the stalker. I’m still rattled. It was horrible. I never want to go to court ever again. Thank you to everyone who has helped me with this situation. Hopefully this is the end of this nightmare.

I cannot overstate how the disability benefits system enables abuse. Disabled people are disproportionately likely to experience abuse, and a benefits system that keeps disabled people in poverty only serves to increase financial dependence and make leaving incredibly difficult.

The benefits system effectively bans romance for disabled people. 💔 Move in with a partner? Your UC is slashed. You're forced into financial dependence or poverty. The choice: stay single to survive, or find love and lose your independence. It’s state-mandated isolation.

@Vonnie_Ivy Stranger adoption and surrogacy is nothing but sanitized child trafficking. It's traumatic and damaging. Children are affected by it their entire life. Nobody has the right to another person's child.
