🚑 ChatGPT4 just discovered my gf's allergic reaction: She got massive hives all over her body at 4am, we went to doctor and she got an IV with corticoids and it fixed it, doctor said it might be preservatives/conservants/food chemicals, but we always eat mostly clean so how? I entered everything we ate in last 24h into GPT4, eggs, fruits, vegetables etc. I asked it to rank the most likely allergen GPT4 first thought it was hazelnut from some chocolate she ate, but then I we got the minced meat from the trash bin and pasted the ingredients of the minced meat we ate... Our local butcher we normally always buy from (which has clean free-roaming meat) ran out of meat this week. So we bought meat from the local supermarket yesterday This was probably a terrible mistake I didn't know supermarket meat was THIS bad, I thought it was just factory farmed and it was sad animals, but then we checked the packaging of the meat and and it's full of other stuff added: INGREDIENTS: BEEF (86%), WATER, BREAD CRUMBS (RICE AND CORN FLOUR, STARCH, CORN, SALT, DEXTROSE), SALT, BEET EXTRACT, SPICES AND AROMATIC HERBS, NATURAL AROMA AND PRESERVATIVE E223 (SULFITES). GPT4 instantly ranked Sulphites at the top possible allergen for hives, Google confirmed that causes hives (urticaria) This matched with what the doctor said, probably a food preservative allergy I don't know the point, I guess really look twice when you buy supermarket meat
