I was born deaf, my mom never noticed. It didn’t get noticed until I started kindergarten and the teacher brought it up. My mom just thought I was stubborn and didn’t listen. (I was 100% deaf in both ears.) after the teacher noticed I got multiple surgeries that gave me the ability to hear. My mom told this story like it was a little funny tidbit my whole life.
