If we're going by stats, Joe Burrow wins MVP this year as he leads QBs in almost every category. If we're going by best record, Mahomes wins MVP. Either way, Jackson is out.

2023: Jackson wins MVP w/out overly impressive stats. The argument: "He's a great player & his team has a better record. It's not just about stats." 2024: Jackson in the race for MVP despite having 5 losses. The argument, "Look at his stats. It's not just about the team record."

Why are we crowning Lamar Jackson as the MVP? He doesn't lead in any statistic & is not even in the top 10 in many of them.He has 29 total TDs and ranks 15th in passing yards. His rushing yards are way down. What has he done to deserve the MVP? Why can't we give it to a non-QB?
