How is this happening in NYC? I mean I can see it in almost any other other city but NYC is such a different animal and such a spectacle to the entire world. However we did see the same thing happen in London and London isn’t the same as NYC but it is close, so it’s possible. I guess I’d say if you want to get a glimpse of what NYC will look like in a couple years just look at London and imagine that but under the guidance of a fully socialist, communist leaning administration. Personally I think it’ll just fail and be a big wake-up call to the well meaning “socialism just hasn’t been done the right way yet” and the very good natured and well meaning privileged people that think there’s a never ending money to pay for anything and that government is actually “here to help”. There’s going to be a lot of pissed of and disenchanted young people and a lot of ashamed and beaten older liberal folks when it’s over and done
