We had a great event at DAUGHTER’s COFFEE & BOOKS in Durham NC We cannot recommend this place enough - it’s a MUST VISIT if you are in the RALEIGH DURHAM area or a student at UNC, DUKE, or NCCU! Great coffee, seating, and one of the most chill vibes we’ve seen in a bookstore - this indie female led store is inclusive in all of the right ways and we hope people will check it out for a diverse selection of authors! THIS WEEKEND WAS AWESOME! Not only was our award-winning manga brand, Saturday AM, at the ANIMATE RALEIGH show (part of @AnimateRDU), but we also had our very own @JeyOdin (creator of our manga series, HAMMER, and artist of books like LEMONADE CODE, RICK & MORTY MANGA), as well as our staff illustrator, @AfdsBm, at the ATLANTA SCIFI & FANTASY EXPO! This annual event is put on by @ChallengesGA, one of Atlanta's best comics shops! It was the 1st show for Jeyodin (since the birth of his 1st child) and Anthony's first-ever convention appearance. Fans snapped up Anthony's prints, ranging from black icons like MLK to CLOCK STRIKER, shonen manga's 1st black female lead hero by Saturday AM founder Frederick Jones x artist @gladiskstudio to JUJUTSU KAISEN, as well as copies of Jeyodin's amazing manga titles and personal illustration prints!
