Cities that cut trees for concrete shouldn’t be surprised when nights stop cooling down. Heatwaves are no longer just daytime disasters, they’re becoming 24/7 public health emergencies, especially for the poor/outdoor workers. Urban planning is climate policy now!!! @PMOIndia

@ANI Shoddy police work putting forward a weak case for whatever reason? Then perhaps compromised judicial system might have lead to this?

#WATCH | 2024 Pune Porsche crash case | Jabalpur, MP: On bail to the juvenile accused and viral video of celebration by his family, Suresh Koshta, father of Ashwini - one of the deceased, says, "It must be a practice in their society to kill two people and then celebrate...They are mocking the common citizens. Law is locking the common man because it is the law which grants them provisions to avoid punishment, that if one is a juvenile, they can do anything...Supreme Court should pass a judgment which would instil fear of law among the people. There is no fear of law anymore. If one is awarded punishment by the High Court, they are let go by Supreme Court. This encourages crime...Until laws like those in Muslim countries - blood for blood - are brought in India, nothing is going to improve...How can this be reined in, how can a message be sent out if the law is not strict?...His bail should be revoked and his parents should be jailed. If it comes before the Supreme Court, they should not be granted bail..."

Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi Ji, why doesn't BJP STOP useless "Revdais" like Ladki Behna! Sir, the West Asia conflict started Feb 28th yet the BJP was busy handing FREE LPG in Bengal & Assam! Infact your govt has raked in ₹36 LAKH CRORE from petrol & diesel in 10 yrs after paying for the oil bonds started my late PM Atal Bihari Vajpyee ji (Not Dr MMS). The OMCs have made ₹70,000 Cr profit last year + ₹19,000 Cr in Q1 alone! Even now the Union Govt is making about ₹15/ litre on Petrol and Diesel. The government CAN easily absorb the hikes & give the common INDIAN RELIEF for NOW!

At Thang, the last border village, a tourist woman named Suman Bhat was being briefed by a local girl while showing the last village, Faranu, in Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan. During the briefing, certain words were concerning. The girl referred to the visible agricultural land and the village of Farano simply as 'Pakistan's agriculture' and 'a Pakistani village.' I respectfully object to this description. It would have been more appropriate to say that this is our land, which is under illegal occupation by Pakistan, as per India's position on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.🇮🇳 @ajaykraina @saket71 @vipul2777 @BikerGirlkancha @AshokShrivasta6 @majorgauravarya

@IndianExpress There is no system to clean roads and streets in India. Even if some efforts are made and cleaning is done we idiots of India so proudly throw our garbage on streets again. Dust no one cares.

The Indian Express@IndianExpress·
#ExpressInvestigation 🔍 | A 1-km road stretch in #Delhi can hold nearly 145 kg of dust. But the system meant to clean it is failing at almost every level. The Indian Express tracked Delhi’s mechanical road sweepers for over 300 days, analysing 18 million GPS data points. The investigation found that Delhi has just 95 sweeping machines — more than 80% short of the 505 recommended to control road dust. Even this limited fleet is not being fully used. In #summer, when road dust is at its worst, only 25 routes were active on a typical day. By March, that number fell to just 15. The deployment is uneven too, with machines concentrated more in VIP-heavy and better-funded zones, while outer areas get far less coverage. Sanitation workers walk up to 30 km a night beside slow-moving machines, often without specialised protective gear. And after collection, the dust is often dumped uncovered at open sites, where it can rise again. Experts say sweepers are only a temporary fix. The real solution lies in end-to-end road paving. Imagine if it was tourist vehicle how much we would have raged and if you call them out get ready to face united rage !

I was there for one week in Goa few weeks back. The no of foreigners were close to 0. All have shifted their vacation spot to Sri Lanka , Bali , Thailand , Vietnam ,Philippines etc. Even in next 10 years Tourism won’t be increased in India everyone knows. Because we lack basic things like clean roads , good public infra & good aqi. Or here also we would say “they may come and go we don’t need them.” #Travel
Dhawal Jain@dhawal20jain

What have countries like Vietnam , Thailand , China , Sri Lanka figured out that still in 2026 we haven’t been able to that ? My white shoes were as good as new even after 10 days of travelling in Vietnam. We have to focus on fixing these base level problems like good roads & Aqi first. People can wait if metro , coastal road etc is delayed. First everyone need is good aqi & clean roads. #Vietnam #Aqi

If paying ₹120 for petrol feels unaffordable, maybe reconsider owning a vehicle in the first place. Fuel prices are always going to be shaped by government policy and global markets. If you want real energy independence, switch to an EV and power it with solar.

@Ravisutanjani Instead of only importing brands, people should also support Indian companies like: 🔹 Voltas (Tata) 🔹 Blue Star 🔹 Lloyd 🔹 Havells More support for Indian brands = more local manufacturing, jobs, and stronger “Made in India” growth. 🏭🇮🇳
