@RaspberryR3d Your conclusion that Jordan Chandler received approximately $9.3 million remains the final conclusion of our debate. You solved it and know better than The Associated Pres (AP), LA Times, CBS News etc. Thank you for your contribution and insight @RaspberryR3d! 🤡

This is one of the most misunderstood aspects of the MJ case. Michael settled a CIVIL case, which had no impact on the criminal one. The investigation continued and a trial would have taken place if his accusers had testified or if evidence had been found for the state to indict him. The accusers had the opportunity to BOTH receive money and pursue criminal charges, but chose not to. He settled the civil case because it was scheduled before the criminal one, which violated his Fifth Amendment rights. The Chandlers admitted in their book that they intentionally created this situation to pressure him into settling. Regardless, this is not relevant to the criminal case itself.

Slonk@Pies_of_Lee

the fact that michael jackson settled the case with jordan chandler for $23 million is possibly the biggest piece of evidence against him. $23 million in 1993 is about $53 million today. you're delusional if you think someone would settle for that much if they were innocent

@KatezRight @MJJTruthSeeker @KateK4870 365 days in that time period is factual. That was a court testimony from MJ’s own witness during the trial in 2005. You can look this up yourself. You are also very naive if you think denials means anything at this point, giving all the information we now know about hush-money.

@MJJTruthSeeker @KateK4870 365? Really? 🙄 Brett Barnes has consistently denied any wrongdoing or that abuse occurred during his time with Jackson, a stance he maintained during the 2005 trial and in subsequent public statements.

People who have zero emotional intelligence just don't understand Michael Jackson & never have Michael is the most misunderstood person that lived in my lifetime. My wish is that each installment of the #MichaelMovie goes some way to people being able to educate themselves

@tib_calixto @RazorFist @alexwc1964 He regretted it so much he settled again long after this with Jason Francia? And the Estate did the same thing again in 2019/2020? I don`t buy the excuse of MJ regretting it.

@SaulMarch @RazorFist @alexwc1964 In fact, Michael remained silent in the civil case. And that was worse than if he had gone to court, in terms of media attention. He deeply regretted it, especially since he didn't want to.

@1997Bababa @billiejeanse It's not a wrong case, dummy. Sneddon tried to enter Chandler's description as evidence in the 2005 trial but was denied. Sneddon himself gave different descriptions of the evidence in question. He was lying, and it wasn't a match.

Michael Jackson’s name is so hot right now. You got the haters and guilters camping out in fans mentions, the media regurgitating bs stories, and these other folks trying to boost engagement on their posts

@hiphoplibrary @RazorFist @alexwc1964 Firstly Double jeopardy only applies to criminal cases, not civil. MJ’ team made many silly attempts to delay the case: They even requested a delay of up to six years (until the criminal statute of limitations might run), that got rejected. IMO an innocent man didn’t need to fear

No, sorry, what I meant specifically is that if MJ had plead the fifth that would not have stopped the discovery process. MJ testifying (or not) would just be the beginning of the discovery process. The civil trail would have still gone forward and he would still be under double jeopardy

@SaulMarch @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy That was the advice his legal team gave him: the Chandlers would get the money they so desperately wanted by settling the civil case, and he would have a fair criminal trial to prove his innocence.

“Michael” is not, at its core, a film about Michael Jackson in the traditional sense. It is a film about who we want Michael Jackson to be—and how we’d prefer to remember him. My latest. open.substack.com/pub/ftense/p/t…

@SaulMarch @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy Because he was also facing a criminal trial, and the judge denied his request four times to have the criminal trial first and then the civil one, he got rid of the civil case by paying to face the more important one, the criminal; it's nothing like the bodyguard case.

@BARBIEBEMINE @GerrickKennedy How do you know who initiated the first negotiations? R Kelly was guilty, but didn’t get locked up until many years later. MJ died before the heat really came, before his victims got to lead adult lives with their own kids. Evan turned down this offer from MJ. Check the date👇

@SaulMarch @GerrickKennedy DOESNT mean the documentary is invalid, contains multiple points of evidence that the chandler’s were extorting him. Evan himself went to MJ to blackmail him bc he wanted money. All of them were money hungry rats. If we was guilty, he’d have been locked up. But he wasn’t, cope 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Maxio2016 @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy The two aren’t unrelated in that timeline. The LA Times reporting from Dec 11, 1993 shows negotiations covered both possible arrest on return and conditions around cooperation, including the body search. So it wasn’t a clean separation between “entry arrest” and ⬇️

@SaulMarch @GerrickKennedy The drawing wasn’t accurate sir. When guilters have already made up your mind, I’d be wasting my time trying to explain. If you truly want your questions answered, there’s a documentary that debunks all that, one by one, in detail and more on YouTube youtu.be/ZxNDb2PVcoM?si….

@Maxio2016 @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy the body-search. Several other sources have also confirmed that Cochran made this particular deal, that was also one of the reasons why Cochran was present during the body -search. Hope this helps.

@Maxio2016 @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy MJ re-entered the U.S. holding hands with one of the Cascio siblings 10 December 1993. 15 days later the body-search took place. The article where body-search is actually discussed and mentioned is from 11 December. So it’s fair to say Cochran made those negotiations involving⬇️

@Maxio2016 @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy The description is tied to the accuser, so without his testimony it becomes very difficult to admit and use effectively in court due to hearsay and confrontation issues. The settlement killed the case. Listen to MJ’s own lawyers words, you have unfortunately been fooled👇

@Maxio2016 @SusieJohn3311 @GerrickKennedy comes the real reason: IMMEDIATELY after the strip-search MJ`s lawyer slickly started the negotiations of the $23 million settlement. The police couldn't move forward without being sure they had a boy willing to testify. The boy didn’t give those assurances.⬇️
