@Keir_Starmer Does this include Blackpool Airport in Lancashire?
The biggest excuse from the owners, Blackpool Council, is that no airline is interested and the catchment area is too small. So we carried out a quick basic survey, click the link. Each marker is a person. google.com/maps/d/viewer?…

@PhilMyers53 @Bryn1914088 Why is now that Labour are in government all we hear is right wing or left wing all this type of nonsense.
English

@Bryn1914088 I'm a very decent person. But I have zero tolerance of right wingers
English

@BorisJohnson It’s a requirement for workers, Boris.

I will never accept a government ID card. I will never use one. If asked to produce one I will refuse - and I hope you do, too

@UshaVanceNews “Yes, climate change is real, the planet is warming. But it’s not caused by humans, and we can’t stop it. Earth is evolving naturally, even expanding the polar caps. Trees, not taxes, are the real solution.”God knows what deforestation is doing to our planet.

Check out our survey. We asked people where they live and would they use Blackpool airport. google.com/maps/d/edit?mi…

@chrissy_last @71_alec @AgitChevis The airport is still operating at a loss, but the financial situation has improved compared to the previous year. Last year, it reported a deficit of £650,000. It’s important to remember the previous owners had run it into the ground, with the intention of building houses on it
English

@71_alec @AgitChevis Teeside airport made a 6.5m loss in the last financial year.
Blackpool Airport is owned by Blackpool Council which is 570m in the Red, no doubt a portion attributed to the airport.
What’s your definition of thriving?

Bristol Airport’s reaction to investment in Cardiff Airport is nothing short of disgraceful. How dare they try to deny Wales the chance to grow, while happily inviting investment from abroad for themselves? This kind of arrogance is exactly why we need to stand up for our own future. Diolch to the Welsh Government for finally putting Wales first. Enough is enough!

We’ve had a great response to the idea of a petition against the solar farm, thank you for the support! You can find it here, but please do not donate any money. Blackpool Airport can’t afford to give up any more land to the enterprise zone

@Splodgehappy We should close most of the airports in the country, Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol or Cardiff, Luton, Gatwick, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Ldn City, Leeds, Newcastle, Cambridge & Norwich, Blackpool and Perth. We should then consolidate transport links to the remaining airports.

The Greens were saying last week that no one flies into Luton (in Bedfordshire) for tourism. They do now.

@UKLabour “Funny how that works, isn’t it? My National Insurance has skyrocketed so now I either take on the jobs and earn less, or pass the extra cost onto customers. All you’re doing is making the UK an even more expensive place to live and work. Just resign. GO
