#Clinic554 was not a private clinic & the proposed community clinic model is not privatized healthcare. Yesterday's announcement allows for publicly funded abortions to be provided in community care settings, not just in select hospitals. /2

Friendly reminder that the repealed section of Regulation 84-20 did not ban abortions in "private" clinics. It prevented providers from billing Medicare for abortions performed outside of approved hospitals. /1
