The Washington Post reported today that a federal voter fraud investigation led by Nevada's top federal prosecutor Sigal Chattah was closed after it found less than 40 noncitizens potentially voted in 2020. Trump lost the state by 33K votes. 🧵 washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/…

Changes in state law - which could practically have the same effect as the SAVE Act - can and will be implemented before the midterms. We will fight to ensure battleground STATE laws promote honest, verifiable, and trustworthy elections in 2026 and beyond

Folks, we can still win the midterms without the SAVE Act. We won all seven swing states in 2024 without the SAVE Act - didn't we? We will win bigger with the SAVE Act, but we'll still win even if we don't have it!

“Clean voter rolls are essential to a strong democracy and electoral system that people can trust and rely on,” [SED President Nicole] Kelly told @KaelanDC for the @dcexaminer. “Without clean voter rolls, you don’t really have a fundamentally strong election system.” Kelly said the DOJ’s push is aimed at determining whether states are complying with federal requirements already in place. “The emphasis by the Trump administration’s DOJ to make sure that states are following federal law when it comes to making sure these voter rolls are clean, accurate, and compliant is an effort that a lot of people should be proud of,” she added.

Election integrity and security should be a BIPARTISAN—not partisan—issue. And it certainly does not mean you are “under assault.” I've been in the litigation upholding voter ID laws. I've been in the courtroom exposing illegal voting by felons. I'm a founding director of Save Election Day, which is now leading the fight nationwide to implement President Trump's Executive Order to secure our elections. I also know a thing or two about how messed up Fulton County is, having fought —and won—against Fulton County DA Fanni Willis and Nathan Wade.
