It’s the details.. it’s where modern imagineering misses. They think people won’t notice. John Hench said thinking people won’t notice or aren’t worth the effort is ultimately hating your customers. You don’t think they are worth the effort to do it right. Not the Disney way.

I think the shit flinging between the two fanbases is utterly pointless. Both companies are taking advantage of their guests with greedy operational tactics. We should be joining together and demand better rather than fighting each other.

Walt Disney World has brought back its famous "Ladies and gentlemen" greeting after ditching the phrase in 2021 for gender-neutral messaging in an effort to be more inclusive, according to a Disney World fan account video. The original "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls" message had previously been replaced by "Good evening, dreamers of all ages."

Sometimes, people want to change things just to put their own personality on things. At CB, their goal is to just delete the personality altogether. Hence, the elimination of the "old-timer" from the signage. Heritage is what got Cracker Barrel this far, and now the CEO wants to just scrape it all away.
At Steak n Shake, we take pride in our history, our families, and American values. All are welcome. We will never market ourselves away from our past in a cheap effort to gain the approval of trend seekers.
