Letters sent to all political parties re: their stance on protecting City Park forever. Our beef was always with the choice of site, not the new College. SRC can never be built in our park, so no reason for Political Parties not to give us their support!

@FieldsInTrust we thought you should know @abcb_council has submitted a planning application to turn part of the protected King George V Playing fields in Banbridge into a car and bus park.

Cllr Baxter - “still puzzled and still do not have an answer as to how the public can overturn a decision made by council. How can the public do anything if they are not elected representatives?” They can go to the ICO and get them to put it right!

Our local councillors abdicated their responsibilites. They were frightened & infantalised just as they were at @Save_CCP - as evidenced in the Appeal Court judgement. They will be looking for your votes soon!

6 months since our Judgement quashing @srcchat planning and @abcb_council have not taken back the land. COUNCILLORS AGREED that officers instruct solicitors to include an option to take back the land if planning permission was not granted. Why hasn't it happened?
