@DanielTurnerPTF You are absolutely right. The idea of a moderate Democrat doesn’t exist.
I was a Democrat until around 2010 but they have moved so far left I don’t recognize them.
A few times since I voted for Democrats that sounded moderate but they voted with the crazies.
Never again!

For those of us who remember, at one point, fare gates and enforcement were met with huge resistance from the socialist proliteriat and a good chunk of the Bart board in San Francisco. Amazing. @debora_allen1
nxthompson@nxthompson
The stats here are kind of remarkable. BART's new fare gates have led to a 1,000-hour decline in clean up time; 41% drop in crime; and $10 million increase in projected revenue. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/…

📝For those following quietly:
A civil harassment petition was filed by the permit holder in response to routine documentation of the Hayes Street closure — a public street operating under a city permit.
It cost over $50,000. It was denied by the court.
The court affirmed this is protected civic activity — not harassment.
We’ll continue documenting and reporting. ✌️

Victor Davis Hanson lays out the three defining political scandals of our era—and all three trace back to the same people.
𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥 #𝟏: The Russian collusion hoax. Prompted by Hillary Clinton, facilitated by the Obama administration, it 𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩’𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦—eating up 22 months of his presidency on a lie.
𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥 #𝟐: The laptop cover-up. The FBI had Hunter’s laptop. 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝. They knew it was real. Then 51 intelligence officials 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 on the eve of the 2020 debate—calling it “Russian disinformation” to protect Joe Biden.
𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥 #𝟑: Hiding Biden’s decline. The Democratic Party and the media 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬—and they kept it hidden until he “melted before our very eyes” at the debate, “like the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz.”

San Francisco’s race to replace Nancy Pelosi has turned into one the most pathetic spectacles in recent modern American politics...
The leading options include a gay pedophile from the East Coast, a hardcore leftist communist born in China who later settled in San Francisco and one of AOC’s former staffers who looks like he’s trying to buy the seat with millions of dollars.
I respectfully wish @garrytan would reconsider his endorsement of Scott Wiener.
The choices our San Francisco community is stuck with should worry anyone who actually cares about the city or the country.
You don't have to be a doctor or a lawyer to see none of the current options are good.
One candidate carries serious red flags about loyalty and foreign influence basically a walking commie spy question mark.
Another seems content to let big money simply purchase a congressional seat.
And the third raises disturbing concerns about whether our children will be safe around a gay pedophile.
In typical California fashion, these politicians just fail upwards while the rest of us pay the ultimate price.
I don't know about y'all but I am sick and tired of watching everything I know and love and hold dear go to shit on account of a few corrupt leftist politicians.
All of them are terrible
Is there actually a fourth option out there somewhere?
At this point the bar is lying on the ground.
Common sense says loyalty to America should be the bare minimum for public office.
Common sense says congressional seats shouldn’t be for sale to the highest bidder.
Common sense says protecting kids shouldn’t even be negotiable.
When those are the standards we are desperately attempting to maintain, our city is already in some serious trouble.
We deserve far better than being forced to pick between these kinds of dangers for leadership.
There is talk of a fourth option in the form of @MHurabiell and I am interested to learn more about her campaign because these three candidates below are the absolute worst possible options.
