@HendrickD82 @Hallel10 @Corballyred That take doesn’t hold up. Be real with the people who’ve been following you since day one. Gravy moving to Turkey? No player in his position would agree to that. What a take. Maybe save the fantasy scenarios for someone else.

If we do sign Barcola and Diomande, which is very unlikely, there will need to be a conversation had about Dom and whether there's a place in the team for him other than right back.

Now that Salah’s gone, who should be our new penalty taker, Isak or Szoboszlai ?

I'm sorry I don't buy into the Barcola hype. We need a Diaz or Mane style attacker not another attacker who doesn't work hard off the ball. That was a massive problem this season. Also he cuts in most of the time, we need a winger who is going to be crossing into Isak to play to his strengths, not another winger doing a Gakpo and cutting in every time. He also has only 13 goal contributions this season in Ligue 1. Another Xavi Simons, hyped because he plays with PSG. Avoid.

Worst window in our history and it’s the window the fans have been craving. I miss the board not giving Klopp money to sign mehn. Look at the rags we got with 400m

Liverpool 25/26 signings ratings: Mamardashvili – 6/10 Has been solid overall and probably could’ve been even better, but he’s spent most of the season behind an absolutely horrible defence and has basically been our number two. Frimpong – 5/10 Still genuinely don’t know what he is. Is he a right back, is he a right winger? Doesn’t really look convincing in either role and defensively he gets targeted constantly. Leoni – 2/10 Looked very good in his debut, then got injured and missed basically the entire season. Harsh maybe, but if you only get half a game all year from a signing, it’s a poor season overall. Kerkez – 6/10 Started the season like a complete headless chicken. Improved as the season went on and settled into it better, but never really set the world alight. Wirtz – 4/10 Extremely underwhelming considering the fee. No real standout MOTM performances, nowhere near enough goals or assists for the money spent and games just pass him by too often. Ekitike – 7/10 Only signing that’s genuinely been good. Very exciting player, flashes real quality and unpredictability, but still looks raw at times and drifts in and out of games. Isak – 1/10 Awful signing. Turned up unfit, couldn’t get fit, then broke his leg and somehow still looked unfit afterwards. Absolute disaster of a season.

@FabrizioRomano Slot seems to reference Enrique and PSG constantly. Do managers usually dwell on opponents like that?

🚨 Arne Slot: “I congratulate Arsenal on winning the league, Mikel and his staff did a tremendous job”. “But they have been a different champion than last time, it's first time in 30 years 40% of goals had from set pieces!”. ⛳️ “Luis Enrique said they are the best off the ball in our league — and I agree”.

Sebastian Hoeneß is absolutely the best realistic option for the manager role at Liverpool this summer. By some distance. Prove me wrong

@LiverpoolNowHQ Enrique could field PSG’s B-team and still walk away with 3 points because he’s saving everyone for the UCL. His club even begs to have league games moved for him. Try that nonsense in the EPL and you’ll get humbled quick. If he comes to England, folks will get a reality check.

🚨 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐅𝐒𝐆 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭? I genuinely still believe Arne Slot will be sacked this summer, but Liverpool will frame it publicly as a “mutual decision to part ways” purely out of respect for a manager who delivered a Premier League title. Right now, I think a lot of what we’re hearing publicly is PR spin. Liverpool do not want even the slightest suggestion leaking into the media that Slot’s position is under serious threat before Champions League football is mathematically secured. They won’t want distractions around the squad, dressing room or manager while there’s still something major riding on these final weeks, even if the +6 goal difference over Bournemouth in 6th gives them a strong advantage. Personally, I think discussions have already happened internally. And despite what some journalists are saying about Liverpool supposedly not contacting other managers yet, I genuinely struggle to believe that. If a club is seriously considering parting ways with a manager, they HAVE to do their due diligence behind the scenes. You cannot decide to sack a manager and only then begin preparing your shortlist. That would be irresponsible from both a business and sporting perspective. I’d be stunned if Liverpool haven’t already sounded out potential replacements privately. The main names constantly circulating are Andoni Iraola, Julian Nagelsmann and Sebastian Hoeneß, while the bookmakers’ favourite across Europe continues to be Luis Enrique. And while all those managers would be an upgrade on Slot, if FSG truly want to make a statement and show ambition again, then Luis Enrique is the one. Break the bank. Make him one of the highest-paid managers in world football. Offer him a huge long-term contract and fully back him to lead the next era of Liverpool Football Club. After well over 12 months of watching Slot’s football, I genuinely can’t understand how Liverpool can justify giving him another £300m and trusting him with the future of the club. Since winning the Premier League title, Liverpool have regressed badly despite spending around £450m on top players. The football is boring, the intensity has disappeared, there’s been no tactical progression, the substitutions rarely make sense and every press conference feels defensive instead of accountable. Most importantly, Slot has lost a huge section of the fanbase emotionally too. There are boos at home and away games, pressure growing every week and a feeling that supporters no longer believe in the project. And if next season starts badly, the toxicity around the club will become even worse because the warning signs have already been there for a long time. It also feels like some players are losing belief as well, with poor body language and public player-manager fallouts becoming increasingly noticeable. Journalists like Fabrizio Romano are reporting that Liverpool will conduct an “end-of-season review” and if that’s true, I honestly don’t see how that review ends positively for Slot. That review will analyse everything: performances, underlying data, tactical progression, game management, substitutions, intensity, consistency and the overall trajectory of the team, as well as the growing frustration from supporters shown through protests, falling ticket demand and the overall atmosphere around the club. And when you actually look at all of those things honestly, almost every major metric this season points in a negative direction. To me, that should end with Slot losing his job. And if Liverpool decide to stick with him regardless, then I genuinely think the club are making a huge mistake. #LFC #Liverpool #ArneSlot #JulianNagelsmann #SebastianHoeneß #LuisEnrique

I think Andoni Iraola would be perfect for Liverpool, but people might skip over him just because he hasn’t managed a big club yet.

Some of the absolute drivel we’ve been fed by Slot this season is also a huge concerning point which just isn’t the Liverpool way. Surely he’ll go at some point but he plays a MASSIVE part too in this relationship break down between him and Mo and the fans by not connecting to them as much as he should’ve done. Am I happy with the manager? Of course I’m not! Am I happy it’s come to this? Of course not. I want the best for my club, with or without the current manager.

What I found funny about Curtis Jones clapping about heavy metal is that he has been arguably more influential in a ball dominant and patient team. He would get utterly cream crackered if someone asked him to play an intense pressing game in midfield. And he admitted this himself 2 years ago when discussing Slot’s approach.

To add further onto this while discussion about distance coverage for Liverpool This season, on average, we cover 106.74 km (112.34 km last season), putting us 19th in the league. Just looking at this game, Liverpool players spent 37.29% of the game walking, 54.63% jogging and only 8.09% sprinting. To compare this, normally the average team spends 29.7% walking, 69.3% jogging and 10.6% sprinting Not good enough
