@WedgeBuster88 I’m not tape guy, but if he is the next Sewell or close to, I’d take him and figure out Steele/trade. But conceptually I agree with you. Load up on weapons as Steele is affordable. If we are wiped at 12, a top tier weapon will be available.

Stephen F. Austin CB Charles Demmings is getting the 30 visit treatment by the Dallas Cowboys over the next two days, per source. A Mesquite Horn HS product, he technically counts as a local prospect and not toward the 30 allocated outside visits. He was worked out by Saints CBs coach Grady Brown earlier today. Looking like a mid-round pick who consistently has ascended up to R3-4 conversations in draft circles.

@BrettKollmann @JohnOwning That 2nd part is so key. Trust. So many content(?) creators are creating or pushing content along for clicks. True/false doesn’t matter. Audiences need to get back to legitimizing creators by ignoring(blocking)the trash and staying loyal to trustworthy creators.

I think this mentality is good to have for content creators too. It's not the audience's job to keep clicking on our videos so we stay solvent. It's our job to make content that is worthy of them watching, and over time building a level of trust in our work so they will return.

@FootsDaKing I think the you are in one of two boats. Dallas will sign Pickens or not. OBV keeping Pickens is what we want. But if Dallas moves on after this year due to $$$, then you get a comp (maybe 3) in 2028. OR you avoid drama and get a 2 for him now. 🤷🏻‍♂️.

If the elite defensive players are taken and WR Carnell Tate is sitting there at pick 12, should the Cowboys draft him and then turn around and trade George Pickens for an early second-round pick? You can still grab two quality defenders and also have Lamb and Tate as your WRs.

@DannyPhantom24 Should be considered. You have one year of a disgruntled GP that won’t show up to offseason stuff. Let him go next year and you get a 3. Smart business is to get max value for him IF you can’t resign. And we know the answer to that, this FO has been telling it to us.

@CowboysAddicts I think it factors. The AVG salary for top 10 WRs went up. His agent will use that as additional ammo. I’m sure he already projected it, but no has more to back it. Either way Dallas won’t do it so.. just seems like a divorce is all but signed for next offseason.

I really don't see where the JSN contract has much bearing on Pickens. He was an MVP candidate last year and has two seasons of elite play. Pickens is a one-year wonder who was great last year, but not quite on JSN's level. Different conversations.

@DannyPhantom24 Honestly the biggest mystery isn’t who is stacked how. It’s their decision making. If they get wiped at 12 on defense, do they draft need or go offense. Better yet, if they have an offensive player ranked higher than the next defensive guy, who gets picked? Assuming no trade out.

If fans have learned anything, it's that the Cowboys board is quite different than ours. There's going to be someone (at least one) they love at 12. The only dilemma they'll have is picking that player or entertaining any previously-discussed trade offers they have on the table.

If the board is "washed out" when the Cowboys are on the clock and they absolutely must make a pick, the right decision is to take the best football player, even if it saturates a position of strength and ignores a position of need. Obviously, you want to avoid that situation as much as possible, and work hard to find a trade partner to move to a better spot and pick up some extra draft capital, but if that isn't an option for them, then pivot. You can always sort things out later, make other deals, and the dynamic of your roster is constantly changing. For now, just make the pick, but never under any circumstances settle!

George Pickens is not Jaxon Smith-Njigba. His price hasn't changed because of this new deal. It may seem that way to some, but people who do this for a living have always been aware of his market price. Stop making a deal out of something that's not a deal.

@McCoolBCB Plus he is in the final year of his deal. So you get a 30 y/o LB for one year. Dallas won’t see the value anywhere close to a 2, let alone 1st round pick swaps. They may move the 3 or the 4 and combo.
