If Francis Mauigoa is there at 12 and the top defenders are gone, you take the Miami OT. Don’t reach, draft good football players.

Stephen F. Austin CB Charles Demmings is getting the 30 visit treatment by the Dallas Cowboys over the next two days, per source. A Mesquite Horn HS product, he technically counts as a local prospect and not toward the 30 allocated outside visits. He was worked out by Saints CBs coach Grady Brown earlier today. Looking like a mid-round pick who consistently has ascended up to R3-4 conversations in draft circles.

.@NickHarrisFWST gave some insight into why the #Cowboys *could* be bringing in WR Omar Cooper Jr for a 30 visit. That doesn’t mean they couldn’t still draft him, but Dallas is making sure they do their due diligence. (🎥: @DLLS_Cowboys on YT)

So many good safeties in this draft class. There is no reason to take one at the top of the first. Penn State safety Zakee Wheatley is impressive. The more I watch, the more I like.

Ryan Gosling says it's not on moviegoers to save movie theaters. That responsibility falls to the Hollywood studios. “Six years ago, I got the manuscript [ for 'Project Hail Mary'], the most ambitious thing I’ll ever make; it seemed impossible. It was too good not to give it a shot. Six years later, we did it. Here we are, we’re all back in theaters. It’s not your job to keep them open, it’s our job to make things that make it worth you coming out.” variety.com/2026/film/news…

Exclusive: Catching up with #Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer before Texas’ Pro Day, where he discussed how he’ll be more involved in Dallas’ draft process, being able to “draft natural, draft pure” after offseason acquisitions and more. Read here: dallascowboys.com/news/brian-sch…

If the elite defensive players are taken and WR Carnell Tate is sitting there at pick 12, should the Cowboys draft him and then turn around and trade George Pickens for an early second-round pick? You can still grab two quality defenders and also have Lamb and Tate as your WRs.

From a scout in attendance: LSU’s Mansoor Delane just clocked back-to-back 4.38s in the 40. Absolutely flying.

Pick No. 92 may not be enough for the Cowboys to get LB Jordy Brooks. But what about a deal involving four first-round picks? The latest @AtoZSportsNFL with none other than @KyleCrabbs: atozsports.com/nfl/dallas-cow…

Collectively as men, we gotta stop hanging around dead beat dads.
