For those who are in touch with developments in Kwara state's political space especially in the last 48hrs, we will both agree that in the attached video where Yahaya Seriki was captured boldly claiming that "nobody can collect this ticket from me" played a significant role in his loss.
This was in the middle of the primary election, which was later postponed to yesterday. For a sitting governor who had a different heir in mind but handed you the ticket against his wish, that statement sounded more like a threat than affirmation and this casts a serious doubt of loyalty to the powers that be after swearing in.
A lot of issues might have gone down the drain, but this very moment can not be ignored.
