In the world of agentic coding, having a good bull shit detector is incredibly important. Being able to recognize when the agent is on the right path vs going off into left field is a critical skill. If you don't know if the agent is moving in the right direction or not, time to put the agent down and level up the old fashion way.

If you're a PM or on sales or support, how many times have you needed to bother an engineer to find out exactly how the app works? I wanted to know exactly what the default setting was for a personal configuration for all of our users. You never need to ask an engineer again for this kind of thing, because Linear Agent can just read the code and tell you.

It's been about ~6 months since joining @linear. This week also marks my first week of being officially on call. When Linear talks about maintaining a high quality bar and maintaining a 0 bug policy... I don't think most people understand the lengths the team goes to maintain that. The internal obsession with craft and quality is unlike anything I've ever seen in the software industry.

I’ve been extremely bullish on @opencode , and after their absolute tear of hiring lately… every other competing platform is just totally cooked.

I’m excited to announce my newest project! A large language model with no documentation, terrible parameters, and infinite retraining. The two old models are exhausted from the distillation process. I’ll share updates once the new model has been fed with more context.
