@braaadenmc For now, "auto-generate" refers to Linear Agent writing the the release notes on someone's behalf--the team is chatting about how to generate the notes automatically upon release completion. Stay tuned!

@linear Did I miss the auto part? I see to click to generate but not auto unless I’m impatient and not letting it fire before generating

@frankdejonge Glad you were able to get things sorted--team is chatting from your experience around improvements to bridge the gap a bit better here.

When you retire a team on @linear, all the associated projects become "retired" which makes then uneditable, which also means you can't re-assign it to a new team. Uuuuuuuuuterly frustrating. No wait to "unretire" a project it seems too. Why am I googling "how to do X in linear"?

@briangulo_ @karrisaarinen Try prompting Linear Agent to do just that! You could add an additional line to your prompt; something like: "Share the proposed draft in our conversation here before making changes to the document."

@karrisaarinen @linear Linear Agent is great. I just wish that instead of directly changing my content, it would first suggest the edits so I can review them and decide whether to use them or not.

Surprisingly, found a nice way to write with AI: 1) apple notes for the raw draft 2) @linear agent to shape, iterate with my writing guidance 3) asking to create a doc to read, edit, comment on, and share No more endless chat stream, full rewrites, or slow, blocky writing

Hey @linear, when a ticket description is long and has many comments, it’s really hard to find the attached GitHub PRs. Moving them to the top or placing them in a side panel would make things much easier.

@tharshan_09 We don't support multi-repo for a single pipeline at the moment but we have a feature request tracking this, we can add your interest to it.

@linear Currently checking out the docs, and it looks like it works per repo? How can we combine multi repos into one release pipeline? e.g. webapp + api being release at same client.

@linear what’s with the UI on iOs? Completely bugged out last few days - Dock is invisible but clickable - almost all buttons invisible I remember where buttons are, so I’m “blindballing” it… been 4 days no patched? iOS 18.6.2 iPhone 14 pro Max

@linear @aiDotEngineer @artman Agreed, I wasn't trying to throw shade. I just thought it was funny, like when you go to present a demo and it crashes on run. 🤣 The flow -> google:"linear", clicked first result "linear.app" -> Error. Unfortunately, I closed my tab last night and I cannot repeat.

Was watching the @aiDotEngineer talk with @linear @artman, never heard of it. Went to check it out while they were talking about 0 bugs 🤣

Our GitHub issues are still being overwritten and mangled by @linear. Will this ever be fixed? It's really hurting our team's productivity ...

@Designguymarv We hire in North America and Europe exclusively for product/eng/design so that teams can collaborate with each other on similar time zones. We do have one role open in Australia here (linear.app/careers) and plan to make more GTM hires there in the future.
