Very simple. Percentage will be found out later when tax revenues are big enough to cover all the government expenses. We can start with 70% and fine tune it as it goes. The definition of ' Rich' - will be constantly updated to include those who will be taxed extra to keep tax revenues high enough. So we can start with those having more than Billion in assets and then lower the threshold if billionaires' taxes are not enough and so on. As long as there is any income inequality - there will be rich people who will be required to pay their fair share.

Can anyone tell me what a “fair” tax on the “rich” is? I still can’t get a straight answer. Is it 30%? Is it 50%? Is it 90%? And what would be considered “rich”?

This is how Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos avoids paying a personal income tax - For the last 20 years he’s had the same salary, $82,000 - He does this because a higher salary that would support his lifestyle would be subject to payroll and income tax, he doesn’t want to pay that - Instead all his money is in his stocks, those are never subject to any taxes as long as they aren’t sold - He takes out a loan and borrows against his stocks - The only money he’ll ever had to pay is the loan and interest on the loan This is common practice for billionaires so they avoid the majority or all of a personal income tax
