I can't believe this actually happened. About a month ago, my girlfriend's family inherited around $100k from a distant relative. Since they know I'm into investing, her mom asked me what she should do with $50k that she wanted to set aside for my girlfriend until she turns 25. Like any normal guy in that situation, I wasn't about to shill crypto or smth, Because if it went wrong, I'd be responsible. So I told her to buy the NASDAQ. Safe, boring, and maybe it'd grow to $65–75k over the next few years. Today I woke up to a message from her mom... I looked at my phone and thought I was tripping: She accidentally bought a NASDOG memecoin instead of the NASDAQ. She woke up with almost 550k$. Bro... Idk what to do... I mean? Do I deserve a cut for the financial advice, or am I just the luckiest accident in history?

Robinhood cares about their image and IP. Tokens leaning heavily into their branding with RH, and tokens who do not own their own IP, are higher risk imo. E.g. Juggernaut, Wishbone (owned by Mattel & Universal), Hoodrat (Furie), etc.

I honestly think a proper made pfp generator would do wonders. To add some gamification you could unlock certain traits by the amount of time you have held Nasdog tokens: 1 week held: unlock diamond tie 4 week held: unlock diamond suit No staking, just a snapshot.

@PoorGoat_ @_logjam What about making a thesis for reason why you sold. 'Sold because of x' then you can point to Saylor selling his BTC and say, 'see, even the most bullish BTC whale sells', add 'game is game' and GGs thanks for playing too.

I like that. People should treat a thesis as me supporting a coin. I used to buy and sell a lot more, but now I feel like I can’t because every buy gets interpreted as a long-term endorsement. Maybe if I start making trades without posting a thesis, people will eventually understand that a buy doesn’t automatically mean it’s a conviction play (as a lot are just gambles)

Real question for Fomo users with followings. I’ve obviously built a much larger audience recently, and it’s changed the way I think about trading. I typically only use one wallet for trades because I never want to deceive people by buying on side wallets. In fact, there have been been times where my own candle gave me FOMO and I ended up buying higher after I posted. The part I’m struggling with is selling. If I trim or take profits on Fomo, are the people who followed me into the trade just going to instantly sell too? Genuinely asking because this is new territory for me, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle it while staying as transparent as possible.
