Furious viewers are demanding to know why Huw Edwards isn't in jail. It comes after the Channel 5 show about his downfall aired this week with a peak live audience of nearly 2million and people praising Martin Clunes for his "career-defining" performance.

I wasn’t wildly impressed with Channel Five’s dramatisation of the fall of Huw Edwards. My god, Power: #TheDownfallOfHuwEdwards. Powerful. Accurate. Martin Clunes as Huw Edward’s is uncanny. Had it not have been for the journalism of @TheSun and @ScarletHowes, we would not have been made aware of Huw Edward’s activities and disgraceful actions. Set aside 1hr50 to watch it on Channel 5. Absolutely harrowing, yet perfectly cast and the Ryans story told with 100% accuracy!
