@auel_jean Thank you, Jean! My inspiration came from time I spent with Yanomami communities in the Amazon over many years. I wanted to create an adventure story for children that celebrates the rainforest’s beauty and Indigenous wisdom, while also opening a window onto the threats it faces.

@BarbaraNavarro Indigenous voices must lead the conservation conversation. The Yanomami understand the forest in ways we still haven't caught up to, and mining is erasing that wisdom along with the land. Grateful for work that brings this to light.
