it sounds like nice, good lefty catechism but if one is going to say "they rarely handle it bravely" then presumably he is thinking of a significant number of formerly powerful men who faced death and nearly all of them did not handle it well. so what are the examples?

I think I figured out the Robert Harward “CIA mask” thing.
I was doing some cross comparison between other interviews…
As I was scrolling back-and-forth at the apparent shadow being cast by the apparent “CIA mask” in his neck, it became clear that the shadow was mirroring his mouth movements.
I don’t know how it happened, but it’s clearly a reflection from the teleprompter of his mouth over what would otherwise be a harsh shadow on his neck.
Look closely at the end of the video as I scroll back-and-forth.
