i’ve been thinking of what could even be said about such a tragedy. someone said it best that trans people are “born so late and die so young”. we uproot our lives and transition and live more life than anyone else ever does and society punishes us for it. we deserve better

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s office report this afternoon: 19-year-old Juniper Blessing has been identified as the victim of the stabbing. A memorial for the student, who is transgender, has been growing in UW’s Red Square this week. @komonews

@fag_daughter I'm definitely looking to upgrade to full frame at some point too. I have a 200-800mm lens rn (320-1260 with the crop sensor) & really like how flexible it is for shooting different subjects. So much more convenient than my old 300mm with a 1.4x converter

@SceneKidSanta Yeah especially for tracking BIF or even just hoping around branches really. It is one of the things that makes me wish i could afford a full-frame camera so i could have more pixels for cropping.

@fag_daughter nice, that's a great reach. probably pretty limiting in some situations if its fixed focal length though. 600mm is definitely way more flexible
