Watch #123 of 2026: Lilo & Stitch (2025) is chaotically paced, the CGI of Stitch isn’t great, Removing the original villain altogether was a choice. Nani being neglectful makes it hard to root for her. Still, I had fun with this all over the shop live action remake.

#ProjectHailMary gave me a feeling that reminded me of the first time I saw Mad Max: Fury Road. When you see a film this visually brilliant in a packed house…you just don’t forget it. I can’t help but post about PHM- it’s such a special moment for Cinema right now. An all-timer.

For Daredevil Born Again season 2… I really wish it was a 3 episode premiere because it really feels like you have to push through the first two episodes to get to the actual season, which starts in episode 3 for me. But once you get to episode 3… oh boy does the season get GOING! It’s a great season, with an unusually slow start in those first two eps, but I stilled loved it nonetheless 🙂↕️🤞🏼

Watch #122 of 2026: How to Train Your Dragon (2025) feels like the story was just copy and pasted straight from the animated film. Making this feel mostly uninspired. Also, the CGI dragon fx may as well be their animated counterparts.

Breakdown (1997) is an absolute nail-biter. Jonathan Mostow strips the story down to pure tension, and Kurt Russell turns a regular-guy role into one of the tightest thriller performances of the 90s. A lean, mean classic people forget way too often.

#TheyWillKillYou is a RIOT - I’m so impressed. Beetz is an absolute force, and the cast around her deliver too. It’s batshit and bizarre in the best way, boasting way more surprises than the trailer lets on 🩸Bloody, violent and stylish in filmmaking, simply unmissable 🎬

☢️#189. Cloud Atlas, 2012. With quite possibly the most annoying invented language in cinematic history destroying my daydreams of a #TomHanks driven #postapocalyptic movie, I still found this less disappointing than the #Matrix sequels. #Wachowskis 3.5/5 ☢️

I'm about as cynical of a hateful moviegoer as they come. And yet, the sheer hope and earnestness of Project Hail Mary came through to me. After a second viewing, it hits just as hard, and really feels like the movie of this moment. #ProjectHailMary

Steven Spielberg is coming in 82 days. The calvary is on the way. On the heels of really good new releases like #ProjectHailMary, The Bone Temple, and Peaky Blinders, even more momentum is around the corner, so buckle the hell up. I cannot wait for Spielberg to revisit aliens.

Drawing inspiration from the DIY chaos of JACKASS and the offbeat sincerity of early-2000s indie comedies, #CrashLand positions itself as both a nostalgic throwback and a coming-of-age story with genuine emotional stakes. My #SXSW (@sxsw) review. theaureview.com/watch/crash-la…

Watched PROJECT HAIL MARY a second time. Still hits. Solid adaptation of the book, but also one of those movies that actually feels worth seeing in a theater. If it was released last year, it would’ve been my #1. Only time will tell for 2026…
