Here is my 1952 Plastic Double header charm of Red. I bought this from a private collector, have never seen another come up for sale.

@SchoendienstFan Oh yeah, numerous times. What probably happened? Is it thrown onto the wrong truck? They have to scan every package that comes in. They'll get it on the right one.

Pretty worried about this package. Has this sort of thing ever happened to you?

Tough call, but it's a human ump and they don't have anything to review it. Organizers fault.

As my Red Collection is at a standstill with impossibly rare issues, I've started a Gil Run. Love these type of low grades!

@RussPutincards Oh yea I just don't care personally. I want them all to be in a binder that I can flip through. It's actually a combo binder with top loader pages, 8x10 pages and postcard pages. I have all different kinds of stuff in it. I really like seeing everything in order beside each other

@SchoendienstFan Just seems pointless as much as grading cost . If you’re gonna keep it forever it really doesn’t matter . Plus those old BVG slabs are bomb proof 🤣

@RussPutincards You mean you don't like to lose the value they had graded? Not sure I understand the profits part

@SchoendienstFan Yes , I hate cracking slabs bc of the grading companies profits but it makes sense .

@RussPutincards Yea thats the way to do it. These low grade csg or bvg etc lesser popular slabs are dirt cheap sometimes. I think the 52 was $50 for a nearly perfect centered decent condition example. My run I'm doing is a raw binder so everything gets cracked. Another example.

One of my favorite photos. Ken has one of those faces where you know in person he was a very nice guy. I always think that when I see photos of him. Red and flood aren't too bad either 🙂

@RussPutincards Ah I see, I can definitely see a difference, but I'm not sure how different they would be side by side in real life. If it's exposure related or if they really are slightly different colors. Interesting
