Since Mom passed, so many painful firsts have come, but this Mother’s Day seems to hurt the worst. I miss our daily calls. I checked on her at least twice a day, and she would stay awake all night until I messaged to let her know I was home and safe. She always made sure I was eating and encouraged me to get more sleep. I still can’t pass her favorite restaurant without crying. What I miss most is the certainty of her love. No matter what I did or who I became, she would always love me and would move heaven and earth to help me however she could. Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day, Mom. I miss you very dearly 💕
