According to @AmerAcadPeds, only 7% of kids 6 mo-4 yo had received at least 1 dose of COVID vaccine by 8/31/22; just 30% of 5-11 yo had received 2 doses. Daycares and schools are doing very little to protect kids from COVID. Vaccination is the most important thing parents can do.

Lots of news about booster shots. Here’s a summary. For people who received the Pfizer vaccine all those >65 yo or live in long-term care facilities or 50- 64 yo with underlying medical condition should get a third dose of the Pfizer vaccine six months after their final shot.
