@glassysquirrel @JOKAQARMY1 Exactly, because the locking mechanism is faulty, preventing him from charging. He basically used luck to purchase the car. It is very easy to find out what’s wrong with a Tesla without using a OBD port, and just use the onboard screen.

@glassysquirrel @JOKAQARMY1 Not necessarily, it impairs your ability to drive the vehicle overtime. Same for a check engine light. Due to some software or mechanical issue you won’t be able to have the car to perform normally.

The official plan for HW3 (as of @Tesla's Q1 Call):
– V14 Lite is expected in June, which will include all major features currently available in V14.X.
– A hardware upgrade from HW3 to AI4 (Autopilot Computer and Cameras) will be available.
– And better trade-in offers.

@OneOnlyMichal @kchau I do, given the intel based MCU is not as snappy as Ryzen with the new standard of 16gb of RAM instead of 8. There is too much going on for Intel to even handle at this point. There might be a way around it but Tesla knows that it’s too much work for legacy hardware.

@OneOnlyMichal @kchau I doubt it, AI eats a lot a of processing power with the lack of 16GB of Ram, and the Intel MCU is laggy when it’s comes to loading up sentry or turn signal cameras. It will be worth the wait once we have the AI5 upgrade with the MCU.
