@Love_non_league Tamworth FC are called The Lambs and play at The Lamb ground due to a pub called The Lamb that used to be on the site of the ground. The players would get changed in the pub before games

@otb_benjamin The trust has now gone in my opinion! Lied to the fans, to the media and to the club staff, it’s time for him to resign. Unless that happens, or until he promptly answers some questions, I won’t be renewing my ST!

I knew Bristol City fans weren't big fans of Ashton, but never did I think he'd turn himself villain by allegedly being involved in bringing Farage to Portman Road.

Yesterday’s result had a bit of history about it… 👀 The last and only previous time Tamworth beat Carlisle United before this weekend came during the 2004–05 season, more than two decades ago. Carlisle were pushing for promotion back to the Football League and would eventually go up via the play-offs after finishing third behind Hereford United. Tamworth won that day at The Lamb. What followed next became one of the club’s most memorable performances. The Lambs travelled to Barnet, who were top of the table and strong favourites for promotion. Not many expected much, but Tamworth produced a superb display to win 3–0 away from home. Barnet would go on to be crowned champions that season. Fast forward to yesterday and Tamworth 2–1 Carlisle United at the Altair Community Stadium, thanks to two goals from Ollie Lynch. Next league challenge League leaders Rochdale. For a little extra context, Tamworth finished that 2004–05 season on 50 points. The Lambs now sit on 48 with games still to play. Maybe history has something to say about what comes next… 👀🐑

I did think at the time he’d be sent off if we had VAR 🟥 He pulled their player to the ground by one of his ponytails. Their player kicked out. Davis then pushed him in his chest, back down to the ground and he rolled around holding his face. #itfc

📰 The club acknowledges the violent conduct charge against Leif Davis, following an incident in last weekend’s game with Leicester City. The defender will now serve a three-match ban, effective immediately, beginning with this weekend’s visit to Sheffield Wednesday. ⤵️
