“Women’s rights are not reactionary, they are not right wing and they are not fascist.” Faika is such a good orator.

“It’s beyond tiresome how Scotland has been conducting itself lately, in parliament, in our cultural institutions, both on and offline. As we head into the unknown of a new parliamentary term, may the echo of Alison Johnstone’s plea for legislators – and all of us - to please “hear one another” echo.” We agree with @msjlindsay ‘beyond tiresome’ sums up @scotgov perfectly 👌 ⬇️

@bphillipsonMP take note... International protests are afoot asking why you are intent on allowing the law of the land to be broken. #SingleSexIsTheLaw #BrigittePhilipsonDoYourJob

In Australia, specialist doctors, GPs and psychiatrists are being targeted for criticising trans-activism and its actions. They are incessantly having complaints made about them to their professional bodies and the police for merely highlighting their concerns. The activists know that 'make a complaint' and it has to be investigated, so they make as many as they can, making the job of the medical associations almost impossible. What is more scary is that the medical associations are caving to the activists in some cases, threatening the specialists with losing their jobs and demanding they no longer talk or speak about gender issues because it creates problems for them. Several have been threatened with having their licenses to practice taken away, banned from seeing patients or put on leave from their careers. All for doing what professional they are obligated to do. That is where they see medical procedures causing harm, to speak out against it. It is truly appalling what is going on. Where are the politicians standing up for these people and freedom of speech and biological fact? Australia is captured by trans-activism. The mentally ill activists spend their whole time organising and lobbying against people who say 'No' to their demands and those who actually have lives to live will never be able to devote the time necessary to counter these people - and the activists know it. And that is the punishment - to be continually having to defend yourself from frivolous claims. And the system supports the activists 'rights' to make the lives of those who disagree with them, hell. The lunatics have truly taken over the asylum.

As humans we are never very many steps away from group lunacy. History unfortunately has many examples. But this particular brand has catastrophic effects on people's lives. The more of us who speak up, the more difficult it is for organisations to isolate and punish the ones who raise concerns. There is growing evidence base which validates these concerns.. Go to @segm_ebm for some excellent research evaluations or look at accounts like @LeorSapir @Bernard_Lane @Transgendertrd to name just a few.

An interesting question for many social workers too
