Pelissero: Cowboys would still be interested in trading for Maxx Crosby.

My son’s favorite player is Jalen Brunson. After the game, we went to a restaurant to have dinner. The hostess takes us to our table and I see my son’s eyes light up like he saw a ghost. There is Jalen sitting 2 tables over from where we were sitting. (Which probably would not have been possible if not for the ridiculous All Star Game format) My son has his Brunson All Star jersey on. He knows the rules, do not approach a player if they are having dinner. But it did not stop him from sitting there in complete shock for an hour. As Jalen’s table finished, I could see my son overwhelmed with how he could get to Jalen if he walks out quick. Well, thankfully for Knicks fans Jalen Brunson is the biggest class act I’ve seen from a professional athlete. Jalen came over to our table before my son could even walk over to him. He saw him wearing his jersey earlier on. Just an unbelievable interaction and obviously seeing first hand the culture Jalen has brought to the Knicks franchise was tremendous. There was a story about Jalen not wanting Michael Jordan to sign his Wizards jersey when he was a kid. I was curious to see if my son would sacrifice his new Jalen All Star jersey for the sig. I have seen him not want to have his jersey signed with other players in the past, similar to Jalen’s experience with MJ. This time there was nothing to discuss. The jersey was sacrificed. The jersey is going to be framed with a photo they took together. @jalenbrunson1 already had a fan for life in my son. When an athlete takes the time to create a lifetime experience for a kid it’s just game changing. He did that last night. A lifetime memory. Orange and Blue skies. 🏆 is coming to NYC soon. Jalen is the one who will bring it home for us.
