In Washington firefighters you see the failures of both corporate Dems locally and MAGA Republicans federally: under-resourced, often incarcerated and/or immigrant fire crews working for starvation wages while braving ICE raids. When authoritarianism follows austerity, we lose.

Confirmed with Washington ACLU this morning that Seattle is one of the five US cities that will see intense ICE presence in the coming days. The Trump Admin’s plan is to target elementary schools, universities, restaurants, and also the Fed building in downtown Seattle.
