@RichTRyan I mean say something to staff, I think its a comparable situation. Assuming you were certain of what you saw

@ScottBaumstein Seems very difficult to corroborate, but in this hypothetical you would obviously report on it and thus “say something.”

Poker Players: Reporters are all idiots and get every hand wrong. Also Poker Players: Reporters should have the authority to overrule a dealer if they think they see a mistake.

@FarazJaka Wynn doesn’t have anything to prove any more. They had tremendous success the past 2 years and the community seems to love their events more than any other venue. They couldn’t top last year’s gte or WSOPs so let WSOP sweat theirs out even if they have a slight drop in numbers.

What takes more balls? WSOP launching a $50m Guarantee, or is WPT doing their Wynn Championship event with no Guarantee?

@ScottBaumstein Nice playing with you in the $400 Turbo at the Hard Rock last night. You were a true gentleman at the table and I learned a lot from watching you play !

Imagine talking about growing the game and simultaneously putting the @WSOP main event final table behind a paywall. Greedy pigs

@FarazJaka @WSOP How about the fact that @wsop made a public statement that this was specifically for events 10k+ then applied it seemingly for all events over 1500 while never saying anything about it….

Just saw over 30 people get turned away (as per the new rule) from playing the @wsop $3k event because they registered on time but arrived too late to get their seat assignment at the late reg desk. Many criticize WSOP for only caring about rake, but in this instance, they are losing around $10k in fees to protect game integrity. Hats off to them for that. It’s unfortunate for those 30 and feels crappy, but once it happens, you’ll likely never let it happen again. It will take some time for people to become aware of this new rule, but it will soon become the new standard. For those wondering about the rule: When you late register and a large % of the field is already knocked out, there's an advantage to waiting longer to get seated, getting closer to the money without losing chips to blinds. Many players exploited this by registering last minute and delaying their arrival at the late reg desk, effectively stealing equity from those already seated. Rules and standards evolve, usually for the better. The transition period can be tough and takes some getting used to, but that’s the nature of progress.

Im reading that a man entered the women’s event at aria and the women put a bounty on him to knock him out of the event. Dumbest people ever, you probably doubled his expected value in the tournament, you ladies really showed him lol

@FarazJaka Feels like we are top of range w/ river bet sizing, villain would interpret (probably correctly) we would go bigger w/ boats. We block boats w/ the 7 to go along w/ straight making it a good straight combo to call w/ and shove is a little less than pot. If hes got it hes got it

Student shared this hand from the $10k $10m GTD Wynn WPT Main. Blinds 500/1k he has 36k chips in BB 8❤️7♠️ BU raise 2k off a bigger stack, he calls. Flop J♠️T♠️7❤️ check check Turn 9♣️ he leads 3k into 5.5k, call River 9❤️ he bets 6k into 17.5k, guy goes all in for 32k 1. Do you call or fold vs villains jam here? It was vs. a mid-takes pro. 2. Do you like my student's line and bet sizing so far, or would you do anything different. I'll post my thoughts/results later tonight.

Live 3.5k fields and under, who has higher ROI, Player A or B. A: shows up on time hand 1 and plays above average poker (7/10) at all stack depths. B: max late registers and plays elite level 25bb and under poker (9/10).

@gazelligpoker If you dont open this hand then you arent really protected from opening any hand at all. This also seems like a clear check back for all the reasons you listed, not to mention how its a pretty terrible hand to bet/call with considering how it interferes with opponents bluff range
