Zero issue with the Phillies drafting a shortstop with their 1st pick. Shortstops typically are athletic enough to transition to other positions. Where there's a huge and disturbing issue is drafting an 18 year old with a bad back. Once you have a bad back it never fully heals

The #Phillies day 1 draft was horrendous. Ruger Riojas might be the best of the bad picks. Should have taken Daniel Jackson at #36. #RingTheBell

@OlNoNametheduck 2. The Ducks had 92 points with Carlsson, Gauthier, etc last year. The Flyers meanwhile had 98 points and a ton more salary flexibility.

@OlNoNametheduck You guys? I have no affiliation. But to direct you to a reality check here's some things you will need to consider... 1. Carlsson's contract will indeed shrink the talent pool for the Ducks as they won't be able to pay other big contract desired.
