@RayMoffo Should have taken Daniel Jackson with the pick
English

The #Phillies day 1 draft was horrendous. Ruger Riojas might be the best of the bad picks. Should have taken Daniel Jackson at #36. #RingTheBell
English

@UnderdogMLB Perfect example of how All-Star appearances are irrelevant when measuring a career.
English

@earlstacksbread Unfortunately I didnt receive the jab. Any other hockey questions I can answer for you?
English

@ScottCiglinsky Yeah didn’t ask jackass go stand in line for your 5th booster shot
English

@earlstacksbread Correct me if im wrong you did mention about being a "contender". And 98 points is closer to a contender than 92. As Connor McDavid so racially deemed the competition in that division as a pillow fight.
FYI
Flyers rank 4th-youngest at 26.58
Ducks rank 10th-youngest at 27.57

@ScottCiglinsky We’re talkin points now😭😭😭😭 wow the woke left is taking over hockey you hate to see it. Go back to working the register at Wawa bub.
English

@OlNoNametheduck Very true. Verbeek should have never allowed it to reach this far. He cost them about 5 million per season.
English

@ScottCiglinsky We’re aware of this genius no true Ducks fan is mad at Leo or Philly for playing the game the real anger is towards Verbeek for letting it get to this when this could have been done a year ago
English

You guys are so butt hurt we have cutter and Leo it’s comedy gold
Scott Ciglinsky@ScottCiglinsky
Leo Carlsson is losing approximately $1.35M per year / $5.4M total over his 4-year deal matching by the #Ducks due to state income tax in comparison to California / Pennsylvania. 🤑 #Flyers
English

@OlNoNametheduck 2. The Ducks had 92 points with Carlsson, Gauthier, etc last year. The Flyers meanwhile had 98 points and a ton more salary flexibility.
English

@OlNoNametheduck You guys? I have no affiliation. But to direct you to a reality check here's some things you will need to consider...
1. Carlsson's contract will indeed shrink the talent pool for the Ducks as they won't be able to pay other big contract desired.
English

@earlstacksbread You do realize it wasn't his decision to be retained right? He doesn't have that right until he becomes an unrestricted not a restricted free agent like he just was. And to answer the contender part you do realize the Flyers had 98 points compared to the Ducks with 92?

English

@ScottCiglinsky Took a pay cut to play for a contender can you blame him?
English

@ScottCiglinsky Yes but he gets to live on the Beach and golf during off days, versus living in Philly and playing in a toxic sports fan base
English

@ScottCiglinsky @SDeansly obviously he's not paying attention to players jumping at the chance to play in low or no state tax places. Brady Tkachuk is going to put over a million dollars more in his pocket per year just because he was traded to Florida
English

@UnderdogMLB Then he finds his way back to the injured list (18 times inside 8 1/2 seasons).
English

@ScottCiglinsky @RayMoffo Comparing Philadelphia to Southern California and Newport Beach. People see the easy choice
English

@ScottCiglinsky stand corrected, the loophole works for Canadian teams when signing American players, through foreign tax credits
English

@UnderdogMLB About time. He's good for a stint on there every season. 6 times since 2023 😬
English

@RayMoffo Incorrect. Look up "Jock Tax" the only way he could have danced around this is if he signed something like the Dodgers did with Ohtani. Backloading after he retires then he can claim retirement taxes elsewhere not where he was employed.
English

@ScottCiglinsky it is but the signing bonus is only subject to California taxes if he files a primary residence in California
