@7f9bddb86ebe457 Looks pretty good but Broad in for Brown and Lefau for Armstrong I reckon if we are talking about a team for right now without injuries. Can’t play both Faull and Armstrong yet, neither are ready. Faull seems closer though. Gibcus needs to earn his spot with good form.

@jamesrouel Experienced players are not a gamble like kids are. Since Tom Lynch in 2018 we’ve only recruited 4 players from other clubs Tim Taranto (hit) Jacob Hopper (miss) Robbie Tarrant (miss) Kossie (miss) Have to admit we could use some good experienced players now, like a ruck or KPF

@ScottDudley I feel either way it’s a gamble. While all them remain good, Geelong is the only one that converts it to flags.

@RFC_Centre It’s a dire update. Only Round 4 and we’re already struggling to field a full side. Surely it can’t just be down to bad luck after about 4 seasons in a row of injury carnage. The wooden spoon is looking good at this stage.

R4 | Injury Report 😕 Alger & Harry 8 weeks for their respective injuries. Both avoid surgery. Rhyan Mansell is now out for 3-4 months with a foot stress fracture. Couldn’t script this stuff… Ryan available for full mins, Broad a test. Sam Cumming is a Test!! #GoTiges

@BrentyMann Almost a carbon copy of last week. I was there and the second quarter was very encouraging but fell away again. I’ll be watching with interest how we tackle the ruck position this week.

We need to turn our good halves into three and four quarters, but that will come. We were right in the grill of the Dockers on their home deck, but their class shone through in gloomy conditions. Still plenty to take out of the game. Send through your thoughts. #TalkingTigers

@KelvinJM81 @RegVicTiger But that’s the exact problem, it’s too many. Surely we could have recruited an experienced back up ruckman and key forward. I get we’re rebuilding but you have to take into account some of these kids won’t make it and we’re gambling. Need to recruit experienced players next.

Last 2 weeks we have seen that we can compete with the top sides, but the top sides play 4 1/4's each week, not a half.

@7f9bddb86ebe457 Is about time we recruited some established players. Been zero since Taranto and Hopper 3 years ago. I can only think of Robbie Tarrant and he only lasted a year. We’ve cut too deep with too many teenagers. Where’s the balance?

@ScottDudley @RhysBlair10 @RFC_Centre I would have put Balta (not great either) but I think the Ruck has been a position of Neglect for too long. Our post Nank planning has been Terrible. Ollie Hayes brown is a 1980's Ruckman and Samson Ryan is more Delilah than Samson....

Disappointing finish. That said, top 4 side on their home deck without a ruckman & Lynch was always going to be tough to stay in touch. Trainor a highlight. Stays in for the rest of the year. Taranto enormous. Concerned with Brown & Hopper. Changes needed there. #GoTiges

@MarkRomage @tiger_hype Yes I was there too and agree 100%. Other than the second quarter we were completely smashed and the scoreboard flattered us a lot. The gulf in class was massive.

@tiger_hype I admire your optimism, but I was at the game and had Freo kicked straight we would have been beaten by 20 goals +. We had a good 10 minute patch in Q2 but other than that it was deplorable. #Gotiges

Good signs: Sonsie was ok, maybe a wet track player Steely, was lively again Faull, growing in confidence Trainor, Taranto both excellent Rioli, usual cameo role Vlaustin, Short, Miller, stoic again Prestia, a steady return. All in all, not disgraced. #gotiges
