He’s catching people trying to sneak in on their mom's card like it’s a federal crime. He even claims he’s "Top Security" after six years on the job. ​But here is the "Secret Loophole" the employees don't want you to know: In over 30 states, you do NOT need a membership to buy alcohol at Costco. State laws in places like Texas, California, and Ohio actually forbid "private clubs" from restricting liquor sales. ​So while Edward is busy playing bouncer and checking IDs for a $1.50 hot dog, half the people walking past him could legally just say "I'm here for the Kirkland Vodka" and walk right in.
