Every athlete and coach deserving of hall of fame candidacy in this country should be outraged because now the standard is set out in the open, you will be left out or delayed entry due to personal biases.

You not liking something doesn't make it untrue. There are conversations about Belichick now that were unthinkable in 2019. You were simply on the wrong side of the bet, and can't handle that. All you have to say is "yes, when Brady left I thought Belichick would keep winning at a high level, and when he went to UNC I was sure he would have a winning record. Neither of those things happened, so clearly, my predictions were wrong, and I don't know as much about football as I thought". But your ego won't allow you to admit you were wrong.
