OK so fair point, STL isn't the "South" but let me tell you, it's an underrated city. Come to our fair city and eat all the toasted ravioli and weird pizza (I love it), and hang out with the best baseball fans in America.
Oh, and lock your doors. It is STL.

This is why churches need to reclaim active, dedicated learning environments. Preaching is essential. Community is, too. But learning happens best when we are asked to do work and dialogue. Great Commission faithfulness depends on the disciple learning so he can teach others. /1

Of all the learning methods, lecture is the least effective (5% retention) of them all. If this is the case why do we still do so much of it in the church?
