@TheDjOblivion They were rehearsing a scene where he draws a gun, points and fires at camera. That’s ok. What’s not ok, people standing behind camera, or actor actually pointing a gun at people. Also, the armorer should have been present & moved people out of line of fire. Or stunt coordinator.

There’s no excuse for that. Anyone over the age of 5 knows not to point a gun at someone. Actors also know to check their weapons even when told the gun is cold. It was incredibly reckless. Hard to fathom really. I was just saying he probably had no idea what was in gun belt.

@Timcast I was an actor & director on a Western filmed in that town, in that same church. It isn’t so cut and dry. Props/armorer puts belt on you before a scene. Wardrobe also checks that clothes look ok w/ the belt on. Guns are not in belt at this time. When done, props takes belt back.
