This mother is catching some flack because she said she sits on the opposite side of the parents on her son’s baseball team. Looks like the outfield.
She said she can’t stand the constant chatter and lingo - “Good eye!” , “You got a piece of it.!” , etc. and all the talk in the bleachers.
Many put her down saying she is not a team player as a parent.
But some others said they agreed with her.
I am with her. I usually sat down the line on first or third base. I want to watch the game and not chatter all night and listen to moms and dads coach their kids from the stands. Or all the gossip. I totally get it.

We even found an assessor's error overstating our house's square footage by 10%.

I got my property tax bill yesterday. My effective property tax rate is now 2.99%, nearly 4X the national median of .79%. We are struggling. Pritzker has done nothing and his main legislative proposal this year is to force the poor and middle class to pay the property taxes of ultra-rich mega developers like the Bears. My sales taxes go up on July 1st to pay for Pritzker’s bailout of CTA. My gas taxes will go up July 1st, to pay for something else than our crumbling roads. Thanks for nothing, Governor. Lake County is trying to put a 1% sales tax hike for schools on the ballot. For the 8th consecutive year, Gov. Pritzker is resorting to tax hikes to balance the budget. If this election becomes a referendum on Pritzker’s tax record, Bailey wins.
