A dad breaks down in tears as he watched his son pitch in his first MLB game, and throw his first career strikeout. His son’s childhood dream coming true right in front of him. Incredible. This is what every father lives for, seeing his children succeed. Powerful moment. Video: ESPN


Love this. It’s being reposted quite a bit so I’ll join in. A lot being said in just under 2 minutes. Several takeaways, but one for me is cage bombs and constant pull side training does NOT get you better in real time.

The coaches and parents who allow this to go on are the problem. Instead of teaching kids how to play the game the right way and show respect for the opponent they’re worried about getting viral attention. Embarrassing.
