#wwfc No doubt about it, this transfer window is the biggest one since Wolves got promoted under Nuno. This is not a window for prospects, long shots or punts, it’s a window for players who are going to be ready for the start of or early in the 2025/26 season. Wolves are already short of creativity, so to lose your two most imaginative players makes this summer an enormous one for the club. Of course some players will take time to adjust & that’s ok, but Wolves need quality that can make an impact almost immediately. With the fees coming in and the huge wages being saved from those departing players, the footballing custodians have absolutely no excuse for getting it wrong. It appears that rekindling the bromance with Mendes worked in January & after the O’Neil saga, you’d think that staying close to Gestifute would be most beneficial and sensible option.
